In July 2012 we flew up to Juneau to pick up a charter 49' Grand Banks Classic.
We spent 2 weeks on it with another couple and had an absolute ball.
Twin diesels, displacement speeds, great galley, staterooms and other facilities.
Juneau, Tracy Arm, Sawyer Glaciers, Petersburg, Wrangell, Berg Bay, Meyers Chuck, Ketchikan and many other hideaways.

Highly recommend this option if you are "between" boats or don't have time to sail your own boat up to Alaska.
